Initial problems with REW, need help

I have also posted this on gearslutz forum.
I need some help with setting up Room EQ Wizard on my macbook pro..I think it is a bug that prevents it from working correctly on my system. I have downloaded the latest version REW V5, 19 Beta 4. When opening the "measure" box inside the program, for some reason, the "end freq" in hz box is set to 20 hz as default, and when changing it to say 22,000 hz and click on the "start measuring" button, it just jumps back to 20 hz. It does not change if I leave the marker inside the box nor insert it in another box, or hitting just enter. I followed the exact instructions in this video, though I have skipped the loopback calibration of my audio interface so far:

The version I downloaded (Mac OSX) does not look exactly like that windows version in the video either. Instead of just left and right input channels, mine has one "In" and a "Ref In", and it appears that the program is listening to the wrong input. (In channel).
I have got a Motu Ultralite mk3 hybrid audio interface connected through firewire and the mic is the Behringer ecm8000 btw. OS is Mavericks. In the preferences menu I have selected the Motu as both input and output device.

Hi Marius... I believe you are in the minority when it comes to REW and Mac OSX... not that there are not users, but they are few. I am not sure anyone but John can help you right now, so we'll try to get him to look at it for you. I'll poke him.

There are quite a few OS X users, around 30% of the REW userbase. Can you post a screenshot of your Measure dialog? Something to try is resetting all the preferences in case something has become misconfigured there, to do that use the Delete preferences and shut down entry in the Preferences menu then restart REW, you will need to reselect the input and output.

Usually 5, there is a forum section for testing where you can make dummy posts.

Actually, it was defaulted to 10, but we have changed it to 1. We want people to be able to contribute immediately if they are going to participate in the forums.

Attached some screenshots on what is going on. I did not have any sound on input this time, same thing happening regardless of that. Like you see in the measure box, I leave the marker in the box after inputting numbers, then hit "start measuring", next photo is what happens. Silly I know, but I have tried everything.

I think perhaps the comma is being interpreted as a decimal delimiter based on your locale, have you tried just entering 22000 without any comma?

Sorry for the inconvenience... we now have it set so that you only need one post to upload an attachment. You can actually copy and paste directly into the post message pane.

No problem..I allow myself to upload some results from the measurement when we are first at it..based on the graphs, do you see any obvious problems? Quite a bit of dip in the 200-300 hz area? I have to notice that my room are already semi-treated, with bass traps from GIK acoustics in corners and back wall.

Waterfall looks good, would experiment (as far as you can) with positioning of listening position and speakers to try and improve the 200 Hz dip.
