Hello,

I see from some release the house curve file is no longer set in preferences but in the EQ dialogue. But the chosen house curve file is still saved as a global REW setting.
I always wished REW could save it per mdat/project file. Since such projects may not be related to each other at all having the need for different house curves.
I'm always confused using an mdat file after a longer time when showing a house curves that I used in a different project. I then have to remember which house curve I used with this mdat.

Or is there some kind of workaround? Would be great.

I really learned to like REW very much 👍🏼

Many thanks

There isn't a workaround. The house curve data could be included in the mdat file, which would be better for portability of the measurements. That would need a few changes in the UI and the mdat file structure. I'll give it some thought.

I think it wouldn't be necessary to integrate the house curve data itself into the mdat file, but only the reference to the file you select anyway.
It also seems that parameters in the "Filter Tasks" area are saved globally as well.
So, whenever dealing with house curves/targets for esp. different/separate audio devices to create filters things get confusing. Because device/project related parameters are later taken over to a different project that needs different/it's very own target processing.
