Hi All!

Sweep import (recorded by zoom f8) 92kHz 32f bit ended with an error:

REW V5.31 running Azul Systems, Inc. JRE 1.8.0_402 64-bit on Windows 10 Locale: language pl, keyboard PL, windows-1250 at 96 DPI Running in C:\Program Files\REW

Message:

24 bits work flawlessly

Any clue? Any tip? ;)

Cheers!!
Sam

I got the files, thanks. Java's WAV file reader does not like the float file for some reason (Audacity has no issue with it). That reader is part of the Java runtime, so not something I can easily address. I haven't come across that problem with other float WAV files, so there must be something a little different about the Zoom float WAV format.

Hi John,
Thanks for fast reaction!
It's a pity that we are unable to locate the problem at the moment. I will work on 24 bit in the meantime or I will try to find another solution ;)

Cheers!

I worked out what was going wrong in the Java runtime and filed a bug report for that. In the meantime I have put a workaround in the REW code which will be included in the next release.

John, that's great news!
Thank you very much!!
