I got some new Schiit

Just got a Schiit Jotunheim DAC/AMP. It's hooked up to my computer via USB. I use it as a Pre-amp to send audio to my Emotiva Airmotiv 6S powered monitors over XLR. It also functions as an amp for my Audio Technica ATH-M50X headphones. If you need an all-in-one desktop solution I highly recommend it. It's capable of powering almost any headphone.

Check out the OPPO PM-1 open back headphones... a little pricey, but they sound GREAT.

Thank for the comments everyone. I'm really enjoying having an actual amp for the headphones. I was listening to some bass heavy music last night and it had the M50Xs shaking on the side of my head. My cat comes up to me without me noticing. She reached her paw up to be picked up and touched my leg. Scared the heck out of me.

Thank you. They make for an excellent desktop audio setup. One day I may move up to the Stealth 8 but the 6S Is already such an amazing speaker that I'm not sure I feel the need to upgrade.

In my experience, the Stealth 8 will have more bass extension and play louder, but the 6 is no slouch in these areas. I'd be perfectly happy with the 6 as a desktop monitor.

I love Schitt products. The Jotunheim is one of the best all in ones out there. The black is awesome too.
