Hi all, I am planning a speaker with a backwards mounted subwoofer, a mid woofer and a tweeter at the front. I understand how to measure with REW the front woofer and the tweeter FRD, but I am at a loss on how to do that for the back firing subwoofer speaker. Can anyone give me some insights? Thank you.

In normal use, the subwoofer will be omnidirectional and it should measure accurately from the front. For in-room measurements with the speaker close to a wall, the spacing from the wall will affect the low frequency response; the closer the speaker is to the wall, the more of a peak you are likely to measure in the sub frequencies.
