How to apply a measured compensation EQ curve into a DAW that is using ASIO?

I'm awaiting my UMIK-2 I recently ordered.

Now about REW and DAWs:

I know I can use EQ APO in a directsound device. That's out of the question. (will do to my system sound device)

But what about a DAW using ASIO? (ASIO bypasses directsound)

Should any decent convolution plugin do the trick? Do you have any recommendations?

System is:

5900X 64GB RAM muscle based workstation PC

TASCAM 16x08 interface

Presonus Monitor Station v2

Genelec 8040a

Thank in advance.

Solved.

Any decent convolution plugin works just fine.

Although is better to EQ manually cause room correction, while good, it can make your room too flat.

So what I did was to measure my room (5 takes at slightly different positions) , take the average and make correction filters, apply to EQ APO and tweak it a bit (mostly the far ends not as flat).

Then replicate the EQ in APO in a EQ2 in FL Studio.

Seems like room correction is not an absolute thing (for non scientific tasks) and there is a bit of taste involved. At least for music composition/mixing.
