If anyone is into listening to podcasts, this might be one to checkout.

Two film critics are spending one podcast on EACH MONTH of the 1980s, reviewing the movies that were released that month.
It begins with January 1980 and ends on December 1989.

I've listened to January and Feb 1980... and they've got quite a bit to say. It's interesting stuff.

If you're an Alien fan... check out The Big Idea (May 19, 2017) Podcast "Ranking the Alien Franchise"

It's a great listen!

Todd, where is the link for the podcast? I looked at the original post but I am not seeing any hyperlink? Is it on http://www.radiolab.org/ ?

Link is just below:

Also... here's another one to check out:

http://www.radiolab.org/story/breaking-news/

It is kind of scary... but a look at new technologies that can alter video and voice recordings much like we can alter a photograph.
Might be the best podcast I've heard so far this year --- pretty mind blowing!

Thanks Todd. I went to radiolab.org website but I can't find any podcast for the movie reviews.

If you don't mind, can you please copy/paste the link in your reply to this message about the aliens movie podcast?.. I can then search from there for others.

I am listening to this.. Wow, hard to believe but I am not surprised. I wonder if this is the origins of "fake news".. :)

Can't know what is real or not.. crazy..

Wait until you make it to the end.

Oh... I'm sorry... you were asking about podcast for the 1980's movie reviews...

The podcast is called '80s All Over.

It's not associated with RadioLab.

It's a good one... they are reviewing every release from every month of every year of the 1980s.

Another interesting podcast is called "Song Exploder"... they are short podcasts where an artist is interviewed and they deconstruct a song. Very...very cool stuff.

Wow. Talk about manipulation on steroids.. Seriously.. You can't even trust what you see or hear now..
Under the wrong hands, this technology will do more harm than good with fringe groups who think it is real.. wow.

I think I understand more now about fake news..

Thanks Todd, I did a google search with the key words and I was able to find it..

For those interested, see link here. For the movie podcasts!

Will check out that other podcast - Song Exploder.

I'm a total podcast junkie... little scary actually. :nerd:

For modern tech and interesting stories, it's hard to beat RadioLab. Phenomenal production.

Thanks Todd. Will check them out.
