Hi All,
This forum was recommended for REW users, which I am also new to. I love great sounding audio.. I recently completed phase one of a re-build of a Thorens TD 165 turntable which was just getting it operational as-is, and while still a little ugly, it sounds great!. I have an engineering background, but after working for 20 as an engineer in manufacturing (control systems, SPC, and other) I took a job as a software engineer with a medium size company that is a lot more relaxed.
I am looking forward to learning how I can help myself, and possibly others (eventually) with getting the most out of my equipment by treating my listening areas and learning how to flatten outthe response.
