(April 9, 2026) If you’re heading to AXPONA 2026, the biggest challenge won’t be finding great sound; it’ll be deciding where to spend your time. With over 220 dedicated listening rooms spread across the Schaumburg Convention Center, the show can be a bit of a beast to manage. To help, we’ve picked out a few standout demos and product debuts that are absolutely worth seeking out.

To start, head to the 12th floor for something a little different. In room 1210, Magnetar is hosting what it calls the “Magnetar Lounge,” a more relaxed, lifestyle-focused space built around reference-grade playback. The system centers on Magnetar’s UDP900MKII and UDP800MKII universal players, paired with Perlisten’s A-Series 5.1 speaker system powered by a Primare SPA25. A 65" Loewe Stellar OLED display anchors the visual side, while Austere cabling ties the system together. The idea here is simple: show what happens when source quality isn’t the weak link. Rob Jones, President of Magnetar North America, will be on hand.

Just down the hall, room 1218 brings together Perlisten, Cambridge Audio, and VIABLUE for a two-channel setup built around Perlisten’s A4t speakers and Cambridge’s limited edition Black Series components. It’s a more focused listening experience, ideal for hearing how these systems handle music in a dedicated stereo environment.

Room 1222 shifts the focus back to home theater. Perlisten returns with a deeper lineup that includes the S5t, R18, and D3is, supported by Primare electronics, including the SPA25 and SP25, as well as additional amplification. It’s a good opportunity to hear how Perlisten scales from compact systems to more full-range, reference-style setups.

If you’re looking for something that leans heavily into high-end two-channel, room 1225 is worth a stop. Wilson Benesch is demonstrating its Discovery 3zero speakers, paired with Audia Flight electronics. It’s a classic pairing that emphasizes detail, control, and refinement.

Room 1230 offers a different flavor altogether, with Diptyque Audio’s DP160 planar speakers driven by Kora electronics. Planar designs bring a different kind of presentation, often more open and spacious. Definitely give this listening room a chance!

Over in room 1234, Ruark Audio is showcasing a broader lifestyle-oriented system, including its Talisman floorstanders, compact bookshelf models, and integrated streaming components. And for those interested in digital front ends and networked audio, room 1240 (Apos) features Matrix Audio’s DACs, headphone amps, and network components, offering a closer look at the growing importance of digital infrastructure in modern systems.

If you want to hear one of the more ambitious system builds at the show, head to Ballroom Utopia D. Perlisten is running a full system featuring its S7t Black Edition speakers alongside four D8is subwoofers, powered by Audia Flight’s Strumento Signature electronics. It’s also one of the better places to connect directly with the people behind the products, with Perlisten’s Lars Johansen, Erik Wiederholtz, and Walt Zerbe expected to be present.

On the fourth floor, HARMAN Luxury Audio offers two rooms not to be missed, rooms 440 and 442. Across these spaces, attendees will experience JBL Summit systems powered by Mark Levinson 600 Series electronics, alongside the official public debut of Revel’s new Performa4 Series driven by ARCAM’s Radia electronics.

Paradigm is also making a major statement at the show in room 394. The company is debuting its redesigned Premier Series v2, a lineup that aims to deliver higher-end performance at more accessible price points. Note: this is a world debut, meaning it's the first opportunity to hear this series live!

Finally, make time to visit Advance Paris in room 634, where the company is introducing its new NOVA range to U.S. audiences. This modular system combines integrated amplification, streaming, Bluetooth connectivity, and a unique rotary remote control into a single ecosystem designed to evolve with your setup. The NOVA system will be on demonstration, and both CEO Dimitri Peucelle and team member Juliette Shigo will be on site to walk attendees through the concept.
