Use REW mainly for its SPL and Signal generator
Hi,

did I understand it right, that the Meas. Sweep option of the generator is providing a sweep compensated according to the "soundcard" calibration file, so that the complete loop should be linear?
If it is compensated according to the calibration file, I would really love to be able to sweep manually by octaves / 1/3rd octaves.
Maybe start at 1 KHz and get << , < , o , > , >> buttons to step the frequency up/down?
Generally, the above-mentioned buttons to step the frequency could be useful also in SineWave and Square Wave, isn't it?

Do you think it would be a huge issue to provide that? That would be absolutely gorgeous!

Did I also understand it right, that the linear sweep and the log sweep are not taking the calibration file into account?

Thank for considering
Regards from Germany

The calibration files are only used when generating frequency responses from measurement results.

Thank you for the very fast reply.
I hoped to get that way an actuator linearized generator...
