Hi,
I've found applying -3 dB / octave filter very helpful in determining where to place absorption for early reflections. It removes the inherent excessive weighting of high frequencies in IR / ETC plot, while keeping the IR features / reflections visible. However, it's quite tedious to manually export the IR, apply the filter and then import again (not to mention that I lose the IR delay info then). Would it be possible to add a feature to apply such filter inside REW itself? I can provide the necessary C / pseudocode for the filter itself if it's helpful.
Additionally, it'd be useful to have low and highpass versions (similar to current octave / 3rd octave filtering) to remove unwanted frequencies from the IR plot without being forced to look at only a single band (which makes identifying the contribution of individual reflections more or less impossible).
