    Hi

REW is an excellent tool, but when doing timing alignments it is slightly cumbersome to work with. One typical use-case would be to use the Pink PN generator and the RTA to show the live results. REW has some mechanism of detecting the PN pattern. It would be awfully nice if the RTA spectrum could present the current input latency on the incoming signal. I do assume that the PN type signal would make it possible to extract this information. Would this be feasible to implement? Can this be taken into consideration please?

The RTA doesn't detect the PN sequence, it just does its normal RTA thing - the construction of the sequence does the work. Measurement using noise sequences and a two channel analyser mode with its associated delay finding are both on the todo list, might get somewhere with them by year end but they represent a significant chunk of work.
