Hello everyone,

Sorry for my poor English first.

My friend got a small 6" BOSE speaker from a car(no more information), and asked me to make a box for it, and will put it in his car to get more bass.

39997

39998

I measured the impedance curve of this speaker using REW.

39999

and get the T/S parameters, acturally the "voice coil DC resistance" is varing from 9-6 ohm, I used 7.5ohm in REW.

40000

and also calculate the T/S paremeters from VituixCAD2:

acturally the "voice coil DC resistance" value I input in VITUIXCAD2 is 8 ohm

40001

I simulate the ENCLOSURE in VituixCAD2, and get these value for the BOX.

40002

the value of vent length is 21 CM, is this the length inside the box? I will put the tube in front board of the box, and the thick is 1.8cm, so I should cut a 21+1.8 = 22.8 CM tube?

the value of vent diam is 7.5 CM , is this the inner diameter of the tube? if I buy a tube with 7.5CM outside diameter, is 7.5cm the right diameter value?

I will be no good at helping, but very interested to learn what it ends up sounding like... and how it measures installed.
