(September 1, 2023) Definitive Technology is using the grand stage of CEDIA to re-release its popular Mythos Series, three on-wall LCR home theater speakers, and three on-wall passive sound bars. Designed to match the minimalist proportions of modern 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch class TVs from leading manufacturers, the Mythos Series is capable of seamlessly blending with just about any home environment.
A highlight of the series lies in its ultra-slim design built around the company's XTDD (Extra Thin Dynamic Dome) drivers. These drivers enable the speakers to achieve a profile of under 2 inches. And with symmetrically adjustable extensions, the speakers can blend alongside or under flat-screen TVs. The speakers are also versatile, boasting a IP66 weather rating that makes the Mythos Series capable of hosting audio for outdoor, weather-exposed home theaters!
The Mythos Series is timbre-matched with the Dymension Series tower and center-channel speakers, as well as the forthcoming Dymension CITM Series (slated for a Q1 2024 launch). This flexibility empowers audio fans and integrators to create customized setups, mixing and matching speakers based on specific system requirements.
