Decouple sample rate for signal generator and input/measurement

I am trying to measure the frequency response of a DAC at different sampling rates. The plot that I see in the RTA window when playing "White random noise" extends to half the sample rate; so it seems, like the sample rate for the input is tied to that of the output (signal generator). I would, however, like to go out further ... ideally out to the sample rate of the signal generator to look at the response past Nyquist. Is there a way to do this?

REW uses the same rate for its generation and capture. You would need to use a separate generator, or on Windows you may be able to install REW allowing multiple instances and use one instance for the generator and another for capture. Note that they share preferences though, so it may become a little awkward.
