Hello everyone i have a digital mixing console,2 channels sound card, xlr measurment mic and mac...i want to learn how to connect correctly to measure the PA speakers in theatre...
Thank you.

Not intending to insult your intelligence, but titling your thread “Connections” sounds like you just need help hooking everything up. If this is not what you’re looking for, then please clarify in a subsequent post.

So - you didn’t give any details on your sound card (like make and model), but it has to have phantom power with a mic pre-amp and XLR input for the measurement mic. Presonus AudioBox iTwo is an example.

Given that, the sound card plugs into your computer via USB. The measurement mic plugs into the sound card, with phantom power enabled. The audio output from the sound card plugs into a vacant channel on the PA system mixer.

Regards,
Wayne

Forward to what @Wayne A. Pflughaupt suggests... Please list the make and model of each component you have in your signal chain...
In other words, what is the make and model of your digital mixing console...
What is the make and model your 2 channel sound card...
What is the make and model of your your xls measurement mic...
What is the make and model of your your mac...
What is the make and model of your PA speaker system...
Is there an amplifier involved in your PA system? If yes, then please advise us on the make and model...

Filling out your complete kit in the account details would be most helpful...
