Connection question

I'll be taking my laptop (and REW) to my brother's church tomorrow night. We're going to run some basic frequency response and decay time measurements.

The church setup is a Mac mini to a StageBug Passive Laptop Direct Box via 3.5. The StageBug has an XLR out to their sound board.

If I connect my laptop to the StageBug will the sweep make it through the box and XLR connection to the sound board?

I don't see why not, the stagebug doesn't care what the 3.5mm jack is plugged into. You can also put REW on the Mac if you prefer.
