(May 6, 2026) Clearaudio is expanding beyond turntables and cartridges with a pair of new accessories aimed squarely at vinyl collectors who care as much about preservation as they do about playback. The German analog audio company has announced its new Groove Archive Box, a handcrafted LP storage solution, alongside a line of anti-static inner sleeves designed to better protect records while they sit on the shelf.

The Groove Archive Box is handmade in Germany’s Bavarian Forest using FSC-certified European cherry wood, sized to accommodate up to 50 LPs. Clearaudio says the design includes two removable dividers for organizing collections, while the cabinet itself can be wall-mounted for a floating appearance or stacked vertically up to four units high.

Visually, the Groove Archive Box leans more toward furniture-grade than utility-crate, which makes sense given Clearaudio’s longstanding focus on craftsmanship and presentation. While plenty of vinyl storage solutions exist, most tend to prioritize either affordability or industrial styling. Clearaudio is clearly targeting collectors looking for something a bit more refined.

Alongside the storage box, Clearaudio is also introducing new anti-static inner sleeves. Designed to reduce electrostatic buildup and minimize handling wear, the sleeves feature an ultra-smooth surface that helps records slide in and out more easily, reducing the risk of fine scratches and abrasion.

It’s a simple accessory upgrade, but one that addresses a very real issue for collectors. Static buildup can attract dust and debris, while rough or aging sleeves often become a hidden source of scuffing and surface wear. Premium inner sleeves have become increasingly popular among serious vinyl enthusiasts for exactly that reason.

The Groove Archive Box has a suggested retail price of $95, while the anti-static inner sleeves are priced at $50 per pack of 50. Both products are scheduled to become available this month through specialty retailers and direct from Clearaudio.
