Christie Digital's New Sapphire 4K Projector Delivers Insane Brightness with RGBH Technology

(February 22, 2025) Christie Digital has launched another beast of a projector: the Sapphire 4K40-RGBH. This state-of-the-art model combines solid-state RGB pure laser illumination and a dual laser phosphor system to create the world’s first high-brightness hybrid RGB laser engine. With hybrid illumination, users have a projector for 2D applications, front or rear projection scenarios, active and passive 3D formats, and any screen type.

oh wow, I'm eager to see it! I just learned about this company two years ago. I'm curious if these units would be a better option than an NZ900 for a 150ish screen for around the same price. I don't think any comparison reviews with this brand are even out there. Cheers!

The NZ900 is a really capable projector… honestly, I’m not sure how the two would stack up side-by-side in a shootout!
