When I try to calibrate, I see Input level is about -40db, and when I try to increase it even for a tiny bit - it jumps to the red zone. I use UAD Arrow. I've connect 1st line input to 1st monitor output. What do I do wrong?

I have to lower my level to -40db to make a measurement (and anyway I can only match my input to -43.2db - when I try to make it closer - I get a jump to the red zone immediately). But after I make a measurement I got a sign that "Excessive variation in measurements" that my soundcard measurement varies more than 50db and can't be used as a calibration file.

Whats wrong with a loopback for UAD Arrow?

Monitoring is active creating a feedback loop. There must be no monitoring, none of the input signal should get back to the output.
