Can REW help? Vinyl Wrapping Speakers

I have a pair of Rosewood P3ESR’s that really don’t match my room. I am able to apply non-offensive static vinyl (no adhesive) to the top, bottom and sides and tuck it between the grille and frame, leaving the baffle and rear uncovered.
Do you think it will ruin the sound? Is there a way to measure if there is a difference? Will it show in REW?

Shouldn't make any difference at all unless you put it over the drivers
