Can I simulate anechoic chamber enviroment in a normal listening room using Window function in REW

Hello John,

I watched some videos about window function in REW, they use a sweep signal to measure the spl of speakers, and add different windows to get different SPL information which is eliminate the room accoustic effection, I don't know whether this is the right way.

I know a few about window technology and also want to measure my speaker's (a mid low speaker and a tweeter) SPL in a normal listening room in which the acoustic enviroment is not very good.

Could you give me some guidances? Thank you in advance.
