Calibration when using a USB input to dac

I am unable to find details as to if calibration is necessary when using a USB cable from the PC REW to a DAC input. (PS Audio Direct Stream).

Using the Minidsp USB mic with calibration file.

Reason I ask, I have been using REW for years, however I have never thought about this

No loopback calibration when using a USB mic, there isn't anywhere to connect the loopback.

Thank you, I read that so many times about the usb mic, however, did not think about the usb mic being the input for the output loop back.
