My old 8 year old Marantz AVR had to be replaced so I bought a well reviewed but budget Onkyo TX-NR6050 for $399 on sale. I like it except for one thing: in the setup menu there is no option to change the volume display between absolute and relative i.e. THX mode. Absolute is the only option. I’d like to manually set my speaker levels to reference by going to manual setup in the AVR menu, turn the volume of the AVR to 0dB then set the level of each speaker to 75dB using a SPM. Not sure how to do that in this case.
