(May 10, 2022) Bond Bridge, a platform developed by Olibra, and Josh.ai can now be synergistically operated in Control4 environments. The result allows Josh.ai's natural voice commands to control a variety of radiofrequency devices managed by Bond Bridge's RF to WiFi control platform. Those devices include motorized window shades by Somfy and Rollease, most ceiling fans, fireplaces, and some home theater-oriented products, such as RF-controlled motorized masking used by Seymour Screen Excellence on its TRIM screen line.

A single Bond Bridge can be deployed in a 2,500 square foot home, while the Pro version covers 3,500 square feet, all without any added cable runs or wires. Following a simple app-driven integration process, Bond Bridge Pro units can be paired with Control4 and Josh.ai for voice control throughout the home. Every family member can personalize their user experience by adding aliases to favorite devices and creating custom scenes in the Josh app. Josh.ai’s proprietary natural language processing offers features like making multiple requests in a single command, contextually adjusting surroundings, and remembering the last device that was spoken to. For example: “Ok Josh, lower the movie room blackouts, raise the first-floor solar sheers, and close the movie screen's masking.”
