BluOS is taking a step toward tightening that experience through a new partnership with airable. The collaboration brings airable’s extensive catalogue of global radio stations and podcasts directly into the BluOS ecosystem, beginning with a dedicated integration inside the BluOS Controller app.
Rather than functioning as a bolt-on feature, airable’s platform is positioned as a fully integrated content layer within BluOS. Users can browse stations by country, genre, or city, explore newly added broadcasts, and access a broad selection of podcasts, including ad-free options where available. The emphasis is less about novelty and more about consolidation, giving listeners the ability to move from high-resolution music streaming to live radio or spoken-word content without leaving the BluOS environment.
The integration is powered by airable’s scalable media services infrastructure, which aggregates and maintains a large and continuously updated catalogue. For BluOS, that means expanding global reach and content flexibility without fragmenting the user interface. For airable, it places its catalogue inside a premium, multi-room audio platform that prioritizes sound quality and system-level integration.
BluOS, developed by Lenbrook Media Group, serves as the software backbone for products from Bluesound, NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, DALI, Monitor Audio, Cyrus Audio, and Roksan. With that footprint, the airable integration will extend across a wide range of connected devices, from compact streamers to integrated amplifiers and full multi-room systems.
The update is now available through the BluOS Controller app and will roll out across all BluOS-compatible products via software updates.
