(June 13, 2025) Bang & Olufsen is heading back to the future – again – with the introduction of the Beosystem 3000c, a made-to-order vinyl-and-streaming music system that reimagines the company’s 1985 Beogram 3000 turntable. Limited to just 100 sets worldwide, this latest release is the third in B&O’s ongoing Recreated Classics series, which fuses vintage hardware with modern technology and materials.

This time around, the Danish brand is packaging a fully restored and reengineered version of the Beogram 3000 turntable with a pair of Beolab 8 stereo speakers, all finished in a coordinated Artisan Walnut aesthetic. The goal? To offer customers a design-forward way to reconnect with physical media, without sacrificing today’s conveniences.

“The Beosystem 3000c invites our customers to rediscover their vinyl collections and enjoy the emotional richness of music as it was meant to be heard, while effortlessly integrating into how we listen today,” said Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, Head of Product Circularity & Portfolio Planning at Bang & Olufsen.

The original Beogram 3000 turntable was notable for its tangential tracking tonearm and compact form factor, wrapped in clean Scandinavian industrial design. For this recreation, Bang & Olufsen preserved much of the core engineering while updating the physical build. The deck now features a solid walnut rear cover, new aluminium control panel, fabric cables, and a future-ready cartridge. Each of the 100 systems includes refinished metal components, with pearl-blasted and brushed surfaces machined at the company’s Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark.

The Beolab 8 speakers, released in 2023, complement the table both visually and sonically, with matching walnut lamellas and pearl-blasted aluminum shells. Paired as a stereo set, they provide the dynamic range required for both analog vinyl playback and wireless streaming via platforms such as AirPlay and Chromecast.

From a product strategy perspective, the Beosystem 3000c isn’t just a nostalgia play. It underscores Bang & Olufsen’s continued commitment to product longevity and its broader push toward circular design. By mixing upcycled components with future-facing tech, the company continues to make the case that high-end AV gear can be both sustainable and stylish.

The Beosystem 3000c is available now through select Bang & Olufsen retail locations and online. The system is priced at €26,000 (approximately $28,000 USD), and each unit is individually numbered and built to order.
