Hello - im new to rew and could use some help.

Wondering If I could get some advice from some seasoned vets in here and help me fix the bass in my room. Its horrible!!!
Dimensions are 28 wide x 21 long x 7'9" high. I've attached my measurement pic. I tried moving speakers, moving listening position, moving chairs and furniture, stuffing blankets, pillows etc all over and could not get
it to make a significant difference. Would these not be enough? I was hoping to see a noticable difference before diving into expensive bass traps. Or do I need to purchase good bass traps and then moving them around the room to get things calmed down?

Thanks in advance!

It looks like you have pretty good bass response down to 20Hz, but you have that peak from 40-150Hz.

Acoustic panels are really not designed to do much below 100Hz. To control those low frequencies you have to get into some seriously large designs that could be very expensive and still difficult to place for proper control. Your best solution is to get one of the miniDSP units with Dirac Live to go between your preamp and amp and that will fix most of the issues you have.
