(December 5, 2019) The folks at Atlantic Technology have been a busy bunch for the last year-plus, launching nearly 30 new products across a range of audio categories. Not stopping to rest, the company recently turned its attention to the world of personal audio with the release of its all-new FS-HAL1 Hi-Res Audio Certified In-Ear Monitors. And while its name is an informative mouthful, the FS-HAL1 represents an exciting release that warrants closer investigation.

At its most basic level, the FS-HAL1 is built to provide portability and convenience without straying from the kind of audio precision one expects from a pair of standard headphones. This makes them tremendously appealing to audiophiles that want performance on the go, but also appealing to everyday users looking to infuse more breadth and life into their everyday audio experience.

The heart of the FS-HAL1 is what Atlantic Technology calls Triple Hybrid Drivers, an array comprised of Graphene woofers and Dual Balanced Armature mid- and high-frequency drivers. The resulting output is said to be layered with deep bass and crystal-clear detail, spanning a weighty 5 Hz to a lofty 40 kHz with Hi-Res Audio certification. And because it's specified to have a sensitivity of 104 dB, the FS-HAL1 should prove to be easy to drive.

The monitors have several noteworthy lifestyle design elements, starting with an 'around-ear loop' memory cable that keeps them in place during active times. Add to that a tangle-free gold-plated MMCX cable capable of rotating 360-degrees and an in-line three-button remote, and you have even more freedom and flexibility. Atlantic Technology sells two versions of the FS-HAL1, one carries a 3.5mm mini-stereo connector ($199) while the other is fitted with an Apple-friendly Lightning connector ($239). And both can fully detach, allowing them to be replaced if lost or damaged.

Thanks to a variety of supplied ear tips, the FS-HAL1 can provide up to 25dB of noise isolation when properly fitted.

Atlantic Technology's FS-HAL1 Hi-Res Audio Certified In-Ear Monitors are available in four different colors (white, red, blue, black), and ship with a convenient hard travel case and a 3.5mm to ¼ inch gold plated stereo adaptor.
