(February 3, 2026) Following the launch of ARCAM's Radia Series home theater lineup of AV receivers, processors, and power amps, the company has unveiled a full Radia Series loudspeaker family. It’s a coordinated rollout that reflects a broader strategy shift, moving Radia beyond electronics and into a complete end-to-end system platform built for both two-channel listening and immersive home cinema.
For ARCAM, this marks a return to loudspeaker design. While the brand has spent decades focused primarily on amplification and signal processing, loudspeakers aren’t entirely new territory. Earlier designs like the original ARCAM Two bookshelf speakers and later lifestyle products established a foundation, but Radia represents the first modern speaker platform developed with access to HARMAN’s measurement facilities, acoustic modeling tools, and manufacturing resources. The result is a line designed to smartly integrate with Radia electronics while remaining compatible with other high-quality hi-fi or home theater systems.
Radia speakers follow the same industrial language introduced with the Radia electronics. Cabinets are finished in a Black Walnut veneer, accented by subtle yellow trim details that tie the lines together. Magnetic grilles help preserve a clean front profile, and optional solid aluminum stands are available for the bookshelf models.
Beyond visuals, system integration is where Radia separates itself from a typical speaker launch. When paired with ARCAM’s SA35 and SA45 streaming amplifiers and the range of electronics announced earlier today, the speakers can be optimized using ARCAM’s anechoic EQ platform. Instead of relying entirely on in-room correction, AEQ applies speaker-specific tuning profiles derived from controlled measurements. The goal is to maximize each model's accuracy before room correction is applied, creating a more predictable and repeatable tuning process.
Across the passive speaker lineup, models use a 1" aluminum dome tweeter mounted in an Acoustic Lens waveguide designed to improve dispersion control and phase alignment. Low- and mid-frequency duties are handled by Micro Ceramic Composite cone woofers, while the floorstanding models add dedicated Deep Ceramic Composite midrange drivers to maintain clarity and dynamic headroom at higher playback levels. ARCAM says cabinets are internally braced to reduce resonance and improve structural rigidity.
The Radia bookshelf range begins with the R15, priced at approximately $2,370 per pair. It uses a two-way design built around a 5.25" MCC woofer and the shared waveguide tweeter platform. Moving up, the larger R25 bookshelf speaker lands at $3,530 per pair and steps up to a 6.5" woofer for increased low-frequency output and scale.
For floorstanding applications, ARCAM offers two three-way designs. The R35, priced at $2,950 each, uses three 5.25" woofers, a dedicated 5.25" midrange driver, and the 1" waveguide tweeter. It’s positioned for small to medium-sized rooms where balanced output and controlled bass response are priorities. At the top of the lineup sits the R45 flagship floorstander, priced at approximately $4,200 each. It upgrades the low frequency and midrange sections to 6.5" drivers, delivering higher output capability and deeper extension for larger listening spaces and dedicated home theaters.
Center channel duties are handled by the R35C ($2,370 each). Built around the same Acoustic Lens tweeter and dual 5.25" MCC woofers, the R35C is designed to maintain consistent voicing across the front stage while delivering wide horizontal dispersion for clear dialog across multiple seating positions. And anchoring the show is the R25B powered subwoofer ($3,530). It features a 10" coated fiber composite driver mated to a 750-watt digital amplifier. ARCAM positions the R25B as both a musical subwoofer for two-channel systems and a foundation piece for full surround sound installations.
ARCAM says the Radia Series loudspeakers will begin shipping through authorized dealers in Q2 2026, with availability expected in May. The full lineup will make its public debut at ISE 2026 in Barcelona on the HARMAN Luxury Audio Group booth, located at Hall 2, Booth 2F150.
