(October 13, 2022) Vinyl fans can pre-order Andover Audio's latest phono-oriented product, SpinBase Max. Designed as a premium follow-up to the company's original SpinBase, SpinBase MAX carries a lot more muscle and customer-requested features.

In addition to a Bluetooth Transmit feature that wirelessly sends vinyl tunes to external speakers and headphones, SpinBase MAX practically doubles SpinBase's power with 60 Watts of output. That power drives larger 3.5" woofers capable of digging down to 48Hz. And with the addition of a SpinSub, the SpinBase MAX is only asked to command frequencies from 100Hz and up, giving owners access to even deeper levels of bass.

Compatible with all Spin System products, and sporting the same fine-heathered fabric found on the SpinSub, MAX allows Andover lovers to enjoy a familiar level of ease of use with more sonic power.

According to Bob Hazelewood, Director of Engineering at Andover: "The SpinBase has been a tremendously successful product that our loyal customers love. But many audio buffs always itch for ‘more.’ The SpinBase MAX scratches that itch by adding larger woofers and more power to increase bass output and overall loudness. We also added Bluetooth transmission so listeners can use their wireless headphones or earbuds, and a switchable high-pass filter that lets the SpinBase MAX play even louder when used with a SpinSub.”

Priced at $499, pre-orders are expected to ship on November 15. Limited quantities are expected for the remainder of the calendar year. To pre-order, visit Andover on the web.
