I stumbled across the link in someone's signature... I believe it was Matias (ASR) from Brazil.

This is a list of amps ranked by SINAD, which I fully understand does not necessarily dictate what amp you should buy, there are several other variables to consider. However, it is certainly interesting... especially to see some big money amps measure so poorly in testing. Testing is mainly from Stereophile, ASR, SoundStage and a few others.

I would LOVE to know, although I'd really like their MC611 mono amps... just not $12,000 worth (used). And they offer zero discounts on industry accommodations, so they are a bit too pricey for me. I love the look and believe they are probably my favorite amp on the market from a purely cosmetic standpoint... just so cool looking.

Look at the big list (linked)... several Pass and Krell on there... but they are way down the list... as well as Dan's Momentum monoblocks... way way down there. I'd say there are some surprises there considering the money and who designed them.

A 600 watt, quad balanced, mono block with an autoformer... Sweet... A pair of those weighs more than me... Maybe if you were to put a big sound system in a club... It is a nice bit of kit and you would never use more than a few hundred watts...

My little MC152, 2 channel with autoformers, is only 150 watts per channel and it blows me out of the room before it hits 7.5 watts...

I was actually a club owner at one time... deejay as well, using a pair of McIntosh MC50 amps powering a couple of LaScallas... and it was loud.
