Lot of news here..

Whole Foods is typically more expensive from my experience from other grocery stores so it will be interesting to see how this works..

from reuters,
"Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) said it will cut prices on a range of popular goods as it completes its acquisition of Whole Foods Market Inc (WFM.O), sending shares of rival grocers tumbling on fears that brutal market share battles will intensify."

Just to update.

Today, Amazon finalized their purchase and reports are there that prices have come down.

I may have to visit whole foods, typically, their prices are way above Kroger/walmart, etc..

I'm all for this. We have a Whole Foods about a 4 min walk from our home. If they can bring down their prices to more competitive levels, I'll be more of an active customer beyond buying steaks and fish!

So far, they have slashed prices considerably per the various news. Check it out..

I would if I could.. hurricane harvey! :(
