(March 16, 2026) At the Florida International Audio Expo, we caught up with Tyler Nelson of Playback Distribution, the exclusive U.S. distributor for Advance Paris. Our conversation takes a closer look at several components from the brand’s lineup, including the Classic Series A12 Classic and A10 Classic integrated amplifiers alongside the newer Apex Series A12 Apex, A10 Apex, and A8 Apex models, each designed to blend traditional hi-fi aesthetics with modern connectivity.
Nelson explains what sets these integrated amplifiers apart, including hybrid designs that pair tube-based preamp stages with Class A/B solid-state amplification. We also touch on the brand’s signature VU meter styling, upgraded Sabre DAC implementations found in the Apex Series, and practical features such as HDMI ARC, trigger inputs and outputs, and home theater bypass. Together, those elements allow these two-channel integrated amplifiers to function comfortably in modern media rooms where music listening and television viewing often share the same system.
