(October 24, 2025) Advance Paris is celebrating three decades of design and engineering with the introduction of APEX, a new family of amplifiers and audio components that represents the company’s most refined work to date. The range debuted this month at the Paris Audio Video Show, marking the brand’s 30th anniversary and extending what it calls a tradition of blending musicality, technical polish, and visual sophistication.

Positioned just above the company’s Classic line, the APEX series includes the A8 APEX, A10 APEX, and A12 APEX integrated amplifiers along with the ACD APEX compact CD player. Each model carries a limited edition black finish with contrasting white VU meters, creating a look that balances nostalgia with modern intent. While the styling nods to the brand’s heritage, what defines APEX is its focus on refinement, inside and out.

Every amplifier in the collection uses Advance Paris’s hybrid tube and transistor design, a hallmark of its professed sonic calling card. The combination is intended to deliver clarity and punch while preserving the warmth and tonal complexity that tubes naturally produce. The A8 and A10 models employ ESS9018 digital-to-analog converters, while the flagship A12 introduces the newer ESS9039, chosen for its low noise floor and precise reproduction of detail. Power supplies have been upgraded, regulation is handled by discrete ESS voltage circuits, and passive components have been selected for stability and texture. The result, according to Advance Paris, is a presentation that captures nuance across the entire frequency range while maintaining control and openness.

Modern connectivity plays an equally central role in the release. All three amplifiers feature HDMI eARC, enabling a simple connection to a television for seamless two-channel integration. When paired with a compatible TV, the APEX amplifiers respond to volume and power commands from the television’s remote, giving users access to a streamlined and modern approach to control.

Wireless convenience comes from the new A-BTC Bluetooth module, which made its first appearance earlier this year within the brand’s upcoming Nova range. When connected, it enables wireless playback from smartphones, tablets, and computers. With the A10 and A12, it can also transmit any system input to Bluetooth headphones; that's an undeniably uncommon capability in traditional hi-fi, designed for quiet late-night listening.

Completing the lineup is the ACD APEX compact disc player, which features tube-based analog outputs available in both RCA and XLR form. It's been tuned to partner perfectly with the amplifiers, forming a complete Advance Paris system that brings coherence and balance across digital and analog playback.

Availability begins in November 2025 with the A8 and A10 models, followed by the A12 APEX in December and the ACD APEX in January 2026. Pricing is set at $2,999 for the A8, $3,499 for the A10, $4,999 for the A12, and $1,399 for the ACD.
