(April 8, 2026) Advance Paris is bringing a new flagship concept to AXPONA 2026, and it’s one that leans heavily into how modern systems are actually being used. The company’s new NOVA range will make its official U.S. debut at the show, presenting a five-product ecosystem that’s designed to rethink what an integrated audio system can be.
Rather than building around a single component, NOVA is structured as a modular platform. At its core are two integrated amplifiers, the A-i130 and A-i190, which act as the central hub for the entire system. From there, users can expand functionality through add-on modules that introduce streaming, wireless connectivity, and even a different way to physically interact with the system.
The two integrated amplifiers sit at the heart of that approach. The A-i130 delivers 130 watts per channel, while the A-i190 steps up to 190 watts per channel and adds a dual-mono design with separate toroidal transformers for each channel. That configuration is typically reserved for dedicated power amplifiers, and here it’s being brought into an integrated format to improve channel separation and overall headroom.
Both models combine analog and digital design elements in a way that reflects the brand’s identity. The preamp stage incorporates vacuum tubes, visible through the front panel, adding a touch of harmonic character alongside the clean, modern look defined by brushed aluminum and illuminated VU meters. Inside, an ESS9017 DAC running in quad mode handles digital conversion, supported by a dedicated power supply to keep noise and interference in check.
Where things get more interesting is in system control. Each amplifier includes a configurable DSP with EQ adjustments across four channels, left, right, and dual subwoofer outputs – yes, outputs. A built-in crossover allows users to manage how bass is distributed between speakers and subs, effectively turning the amplifier into a system controller as much as a power source.
Connectivity is extensive. HDMI eARC is included for TV integration, alongside multiple digital inputs, USB audio with DSD support, a headphone output, and a phono stage. The A-i190 adds balanced XLR connections and a moving coil phono option, expanding its appeal for more advanced setups.
From there, the NOVA platform opens up through its expansion slot. The A-NTC streaming cartridge can be installed directly into either amplifier, adding support for services like TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Roon without introducing another component to the rack. It can also function as a standalone streamer, offering flexibility for existing systems.
A more universal wireless capability comes through the A-BTC module, a bi-directional Bluetooth 5.4 solution that supports codecs like aptX HD and aptX Low Latency. It allows users to send audio to headphones for private listening while also enabling wireless communication with one of NOVA’s more unique elements: the A-RTR rotary remote.
That remote is worth a moment. Instead of a traditional handheld design, it’s a weighted, table-top control with a rotating crown that manages volume, input selection, and power. It’s a tactile experience that leans into the physical side of listening, offering an alternative to app-based control without feeling dated.
Advance Paris will showcase the NOVA range at AXPONA 2026 in Chicago, where attendees can experience the system firsthand. The A-i130 and A-i190 are scheduled to go on sale globally in May 2026, with accessories to follow shortly after. U.S. pricing is set at $6,499 for the A-i130 and $7,999 for the A-i190, with the A-NTC streaming cartridge priced at $599, the A-BTC Bluetooth module at $249, and the A-RTR rotary remote at $599.
