Rebooted "Roseanne" was on TV yesterday.

Per hollywood reporter,

"The ABC comedy returns nearly three decades after its original premiere, averaging a whopping 18.1 million and a unbelievable 5.1 rating in the key demographics."

Not to get off on a political tangent, but I am surprised that ABC is allowing her a show considering she is a Trump supporter. I thought the only major network that would allow conservative support on their shows was FOX. From what I heard, she was very open with it on the first show. Quite unusual from Hollywood.

ABC most likely saw the potential $$$$ and they were right.. Ratings were thru the roof. We shall see if the show can maintain those high ratings or not.

I never caught the original series so didn't catch this one. But, from what I hear, it was very funny. So we shall see how much "politics" play into the series but I suspect, it will be more focused on the problems the middle class or the working poor are having..

I never cared for the original and I did not watch this one. Nor will I watch any future episodes. I have never cared much for Roseanne's character/style. I do like John Goodman though.
