Absolutely... the only JBL speakers I have ever owned were the Northridge series and they were a bit too bright for my liking, although I will admit my room wasn't the best and I knew a LOT less about speaker setup in those days. I have read where the Studio series were better... but I have also ready where the build quality was not that good.

I was thinking about purchasing also. I'm a sucker for things on sale. Problem is I have speakers in every room but the kitchen. Hmmmm...

Yeah... they might fit on the kitchen counter... or we could hang them from the ceiling either one. The main thing is get them in the house and until I get ready to unbox them I will put them with ALL of my OTHER unboxed speakers. "Yes honey... I am going to unbox them and listen to them one day... they were on sale and I just couldn't pass them up."
