I suggest taking a look at my CES video interview with one of LG's technology partner engineers on the advancement of LG OLED calibration capabilities for the 2018 line-up. Very interesting and very very cool!

Also LG's now has an optional TK10 sound bar stand/holder to elegantly integrate any LG sound bar. Also designed to work with LG's high-end LCD/LED UHD TVs, the SK9000 and SK9500 series.

The eagle has landed, in fact, many eagles have flocked to Value Electronics!

Our calibrator took one home so he can calibrate the C8 and put it butt next to his Sony A1E and LG OLED. I have one on display in our store now and will also take one home.

1st early impression is LG's new a9 processor does a very nice job of cleaning up compression artifacts. Love the new art galleries, love the pedestal stand, audio is nicely improved and you can easily see the improved motion resolution with the Black Frame Insertion enabled.

Not on everyone short list, but the push button mic button on the remote makes the Voice Command accurate and not able to listen in without user intervention.

Wow, just completed the daunting task of counting the local dimming zones on our store demo 55C8P.

If my math is correct this TV has 8,300,000 individual dimming zones. Each one of the 8 million 300 thousand zones can deliver pure black or drive up to 100% peak luminance!

You are welcome in my house anytime. We have a 5 bedroom home that is mostly unused as the kids are grown and left the nest. We love the house and neighborhood and our family memories. So we're staying here and enjoy having visitors and the kids who visit often and there rooms that are keep just like they were as youngsters.

I don't think they ever made it available to the public. Maybe Robert can expand upon that further.
