Dedicated listening room built in our basement, with Quiet Rock. Dimensions (ft) 12.5 w, 7.0 h, 20.5 l. Acoustics by GIK, ASC, RPG, Vicoustic.

Thank you!. A bit late in getting back to you I wasn't aware you had responded actually, but yes it does help! I don't know about you but i love bass and although I have a couple pairs of Model Nines, I love these for the amount of bass they reproduce. My wife loves them too for i don't have 4-6 Nine panels filling up the room.
I've done similar in my setup placing a small round mirror flat against the R grill cloth centered on where the 2 electrostatic drivers meet. I then sit and aim a laser beam held at my R ear towards the mirror making the reflection bounce back to R ear. I repeat the procedure on left ear. Its so much fun playing around with these but oh so incredible when you listen to a real fine recording!
 
Thanks, Robert! Yes, one reason I got the Janszens is that they fit so well into the room, with its relatively low ceiling. They make even more bass after the recent upgrade to 8" woofers & new crossover. I was tempted by the conversion to active, but I didn't bite this time. Maybe next time....
