Can I import a wave sine sweep rather than recording one directly into rew?

Is the duration and/or speed of the sweep something I need to take into consideration?

REW can only import its own measurement sweeps, they have embedded information about the sweep frequency span and length which is required for the sweep processing.

Created the files via rew, created a CD, and and then recorded into Cubase, 44.1/16

I am getting the following error. What am I doing wrong?

Drag the file REW creates onto the Stimulus window. Drag your recording onto the Recording window. Only use a single sweep, don't repeat the sweep file.
