Two monolith 7x or one monolith 11x

My soon to my home theater room isn't huge, ok size and in the basement.

I am building a 7.2.4 system.

I would like my system to be as future proof as possible. Which one would you choose monolith two 7x or one 11x? And why?
 
Is future proof even possible with this hobby?
Did you have something in mind that you’re trying to future proof against?
 
Your asking us about an amplifier choice with out giving us any additional information about your source, pre/avr/processor, DAC and speakers and your actual room dimensions... Please, open the Kimoro if you want some real advice...

Maybe fill out your "more" information if you want some real advice...

Yes, definitely need some more information... can you give specific amp model numbers that you're looking at?
