Auto eq calculation flex vs 2x4hd

I own both dsps , accidentally put flex coefficients into a 2x4hd , and the sound and curve was better (more to my target)

What’s the difference between dsps calculation , or did I just get lucky?

So just out of curiosity, if there the same what others are the same , the 96k plug in the same as well ?

It would be cool if auto eq could split up the correction in 2 10 band segments , so I can use the input and the outputs as a single 20 band eq , I can do the speaker corrections in fir for most the HF stuff so I can technically use all 20 left and rights IIRs for a Left right eq run ….

Do you know a way to manipulate auto eq to do that? If I set let’s say 1k as a stopping point and 1k as a starting point for the other will it over eq the side bands of the curtain?

Run auto EQ on the first band, then generate a measurement from the predicted response and run auto EQ on that over the second band.
