Hi Folks, after having trawled the internet, this forum and spoken to chatgpt, there is apparently no obvious, fast and easy solution to my problem. How to export loudspeaker EQ generated in REW to a parametric EQ plugin on a Mac. Without file conversion and python etc. And not using a .wav file.
Is anyone aware of a method?

It would be helpful if you would point out which/what "parametric EQ plugin on a Mac" you are using... Or are you asking for us to point one/some out for you?

It would also be helpful if you would point out what music player software you are using that would interface with said EQ plugin... Or if you are using some other method to host said EQ plugin like the Hang Loose Host...

Thanks! I have the Apple AU parametric eq (PEQ) and three versions of Fab PEQ (3,4,5). Those plugins i tried within AudioHijack. I also tried the PEQ within Jriver MefiaPlayer DSP. However, I really hope for a PEQ plugin for AudioHijack. It does not have to be free, as long there’s an option to export REW eq straight into it.

Your welcome @grimrian!!! I think you can Generate your filters as a measurement from the EQ filters task area... Then export the measurement as text, select Export Delimiter as Coma, check No Comments, Do not include Phase... I think that gets you pretty close to something you can directly import into the Apple AU N-Band EQ plugin... At least that just worked for me in quick testing using the HangLoose Host...

Thanks for that 😀
How did you get the filter curve into AU NBand EQ? Importing curve data does not work for me, neither with the Apple format filters from REW nor with the filter txt curve from REW. Anyway, this might not be the right direction, I definitely need each filter exported to the chosen equalizer, such that adjustments can be made if needed. Very odd that the Apple format files REW generates won’t work with AU equalizers!

Ok, one more time...
Generate you filter as you normally do with REW...
Then Generate A Measurement From Filters (second from the bottom) of Filter Tasks area...
You will end up with a new measurement screen/window with an SPL graph of your EQ filter...
Now export the new measurement as text, selecting Export Delimiter as Coma, check No Comments, Do not include Phase, etc... See the attachment screen shots...
You should now be able to import this file into the Apple AU N-Band EQ plugin... This works for me... In fact I can round trip by exporting from the AU N-Band EQ plugin and import it back into REW and see the same results...

After spending a few mins looking at the online documentation for AudioHijack, I see that it will allow the importing of FIR filters... If you are using PEQ for room correction I would suggest looking at using FIR filters for Digital Room Correction... There are a few threads here on AVnirvana about how to use REW to create such things...
