What acoustic problems/properties of a room or speaker lead to a longer filter and more latency? Is this something that can be worked on on a room to reduce latency as much as possible?
I'm using a Dante PCIe card for input and output with ALConvolver
Before I was able to change sample rate when scrolling on top of the number, but now it seems to be locked in 44.1
When I close AL Convolver and open another audio software, I can change the sample rate fine with the Dante PCIe...
Has anyone been able to successfully run Audiolense in an Apple Silicon Mac? Before, with intel, Bootcamp was a great option, now it seems almost impossible.
Extra question: Is there any chance of Audiolense ever coming to mac? :praying:
Hello everyone!
I have "10dB Amplification of LFE" checked on my speaker setup but the simulated result doesnt reflect that (confirmed by measuring with REW) is there a setting I'm missing? It used to work before
Hello!
I have two sets of Audiolense filters for my 7.1.4 system (12 channels) one with XO and another one without. When trying to open the one with XO in X-MCFX Convolver the convolver asks for 23 inputs and outputs.
What would be the correct way to route that? The one without crossover is...
Is it possible to open multiple instances of Audiolense Convolver and have it use different inputs and outputs of the soundcard? I'm trying to figure out a way to have multiple filters running at the same time for different sets of speakers.
Hello Everyone!
I'm planning on building a PC exclusively to run Audiolense Convolver with my 7.1.4 filters as a hardware insert in my monitoring chain using a Dante PCIe card and I'm wondering if there are some minimum/recommended PC requirements to run these filters at the lowest possible...
Oh ok, I understand. that's the way I'm using it right now, but since the 7.1.4 filter appears to have bigger overall latency, I wanted to create a new one with just those 2 channels for stereo operation with smaller latency.
I wanted to avoid measuring again in a new speaker setup in order to...
