RTJ 410 Speakers - Beastly!

We all agreed when we had the JTR 210 speakers in my room; they were the closest we heard to competing with my ML 15A speakers. They were just a little shy of the huge soundstage the 15A present. We all agreed the JTR 215 speakers might be more up to the task. I've been threatening to try a pair. However... Jeff has seriously tempted me with his new RTJ 410 speakers. Those things look beastly, to say the least, and I'm reading many positive things about them. I guess I'm gonna need to try a pair to find out. Has anyone heard them yet? I suspect they would have to be great for movies, but I'm more critical of two-channel listening than movies.

I'd probably opt to get them without the subs since I already have six JTR Cap 2400's on order.

Not a lot of them out there. Jeff is sending me a pair to see how I like them. I am hoping for the best here... really want it to work out. Having the 210 models for side and rear surrounds would be exciting with DLART... and about 7 110HT-SL for the ceiling... yummy.

I'm excited if no one else is.

Jeff said he should be able to ship them with my subs if all goes well... and those are on schedule for the end of this month or the first of next month.

I am not sure of the weight, but surely they won't be light with that Baltic birch and the size of the cabinet. He's sending stands with them, as I don't need the matching sealed subs, being I have six of the Caps coming. I may have to summon some help getting them up on the stands.

Uhhhh... these things combined with six Cap 2400 subs will hurt you so good... astoundingly good. It took me a minute to get them all set up just right... then whoa Nelly! Never thought I could surpass what I had... this is crazy!
