ok - that's interesting, it worked and then it stopped working (very low or non existent signal) I was not aware it was able to operate in 2 settings and as an obvious numpty I have no idea how to make the adjustment back to 1X ??
Thanks for the reply, this is what I get with 2 subs on top of each other, it reduces the dB so it must be doing something strange on mine, unless I don't understand your meaning of normalising - which is possible!
sub 1 is my existing sub, and Sub 5 is an identical one on top (I think)
The...
Hi, I am playing with an additional sub in my room, and my in room testing with one sub is a pretty good match with the Room Sim. I have yet to build the second sub, and am exploring viable locations. However the confusion I have is related to the fact that the addition of a sub actually...
I use this sound card https://www.behringer.com/product.html?modelCode=P0484 and this probe https://www.warwickts.com/1122/TT-LF-212-Passive-Probe for inside the amplifier, but I think I damaged the probe recently.....oops.
Thanks for some good guidance, I will do some reading over the weekend. It maybe the case that saving money on a conventional oscilloscope and spectrum analyser comes with too many risks :-)
That sounds like a plan, however a friend suggested that I would get a miniscule output with an input impedance on my audio interface which is 27 Kohm input?
This is an example, hence my confusion: http://www.hantek.com/products/detail/74 it's 100Mohm, so will that give me any sort of useful...
Hi,
I am hoping to use REW more with the Scope and RTA function, and I am getting confused as to how best to protect the audio interface and computer from high DC voltages along with AC signals. I have successfully used this with low level inputs but am cautious to look at more significant...
On the subject of using the Oscilloscope function, I have an audio interface Behringer U-Control UCA202 and have been using this sucessfully in some applications where my signal is not too large. However I want to use the RTA function to see if I can deduce the source of hum from an old valve...
Ok - simples.....It was the supplied cable, not working - replaced with a new cable and it works as it should now.
now all I have to do is find out how to make the "beep" work for the timing, think this will be a setting, but it's now working - THANKS!
Quite a few forums and discussions with the same issue with the supplied cable I think, so hopefully this will be the solution. e.g. https://www.minidsp.com/forum/umik-questions/9262-umik-not-recognized-by-laptop
