Hello, John. Please, can you add a delay on loopback input? It's very useful for time alignment between loudspeakers range. For example:
1) I'm starting measurements from HIGH band of my loudspeakers system, and seen phase response something like first picture, because I actually have delay...
Hello. Thanks for update!
But i found bug: If I offset IR on Impulse window, on Overlays->Phase I see correctly phase shift, but on Predicted Phase window I doesn't see phase shift. When I open EQ Filter and toggle some filter ON-OFF-ON, predicted phase is updated.
And one more: when I open...
Yes, is good idea, but I did not tested it (so my company have 64x64 channel audio interface, and loopback is not a problem for me) but i think this method can have problem on large and much reverberation rooms. Or I don't understand full mechanic?
For tune and align you components of system, you need Transfer Function. Without loopback, you does not see difference between original signal and you system. You will cannot setup crossover and other filters, so you don't see absolute impulse position.
OK, I don't tell you, that this mic is bad, but you can't organize loopback on smartphone or tab, and codec on this device have big distortion of all measure parameters. Good soundcard and bad mic, better than good mic and bad soundcard.
I don't know about import measurements from another software, but I'm sure, that design and tune loudspeaker system without good mic with calibration file and minimum 2x2 channels soundcard (first for mic and second for loopback) not good idea.
And another one feature. Please, can you add "Predicted All SPL" window with same functions. It's very good for analysis crossover and EQ filter correction and SPL sum dependence of filter gain and phase. Thank you!
Hello. I have one more useful feature for simply delay alignment and impulse analyse. Please, add checkbox "Apply filter to all measure", and buttons "Next filer", "Previous filter" and "bypass filter", so dropping list is not convenient. Thank you!
First time, when we talk about big venue (not personal music listening room), we need find a mic position. Second part of this guide is very useful. Usually, i'm use "Method B", so it's make longer throw, much powerful and better coverage. And when you set mic position (typically it's so far...
John, can you see small video . If you can add same (or maybe better, I believe) functions, it's will be perfect. It's better way for time align sound systems. Thank you.
