Multi mic measurements - a bug and some questions

I couldn't see how to get that to work with Flex (and flexGUI doesn't let you select multiple inputs), but I'll try again later. It appears to work with ASIO4All though, using the control panel in REW. If I select 3/4 as my first device and 5/6 as my second, it lets me choose that range as...

Multi mic measurements - a bug and some questions

They've confirmed that that's the way the Java driver is designed and it's working as expected. I presume that in REW there's no way to aggregate multiple input devices, or use Java for the output and ASIO for the inputs? That all sounds awfully complex tbh! Thanks

Multi mic measurements - a bug and some questions

I'll reach out to Audient then, thanks.

Multi mic measurements - a bug and some questions

I'm running version 5.20.14. If I open REW and then open the RTA, then go in to preferences and select one of the Java devices, then select change the driver type to ASIO, I get the exception java.util.ConcurrentModificationException occurred, see Details for more information to report. Save...

Multi mic measurements - a bug and some questions

I'm using the multi mic/pro version of REW with an Audient Evo 16 interface. I'm using four mics. Firstly, a bug. If I have the RTA window open that's showing multiple inputs available, and I change the input to be a single mic, REW throws an error and crashes. This is on windows 11, I can test...

    Feature Requests

Hi @John Mulcahy, I've recently picked up a Trinnov processor and there are a couple of additions to REW that I'd like to suggest which would make my life (and perhaps others) easier. First, would be the addition of Trinnov Altitude to the list of available EQs. At the moment the Trinnov only...

    FocusFidelity JRiver Question

I'm using JRiver as my playback source on my HTPC and I want to take measurements for some filter design in @Focus Fidelity. Currently I'm using JRiver's inbuilt room correction to compensate for distance and level differences between my L/R speakers (I sit off center). Should I take my REW...

    Audiolense basic questions

I'll check, although I would have thought that running it as an Admin would have resolved that.

    Audiolense basic questions

Apologies for the double post. I tried again this morning and had much better success. I'm not sure what went on yesterday, apologies for any concern. Today I was able to generate filters which just drop 10dB off the source and the 90 seconds of audio, both played without issue. I'll play more...

Any idea how I might debug it? I can send you my configure files if that helps?

    Audiolense basic questions

Hi all, I'm interested in trying out Audiolense in my two channel system. I'm running windows 10 64 using the onboard sound card to feed an AV pre-amp over optical which then feeds my power amp and speakers. I'm using the AV amp in two channel mode and I have windows set to to stereo. I use...

YPAO destroys my house curve! What am I doing wrong?

I always like to use time alignment alone to get the best response possible, then pass all subs as one to any auto-eq process, let it do it's thing and then tweak to taste afterwards. This seems to yield consistently the best response with the auto eq systems I've tried it with (Arc, Audyssey...
