My advice for EQing headphones is DON'T. Interaction with the ear causes a lot of the HF variations and when EQed the result just ends up sounding weird and extremely sensitive to placement variations on the head.

The impulse responses need to be spread out more with a finer time scale to be useful. Even then, they might not show anything particularly vital at this stage of your work, just a fyi.

Hmmmm. I noticed with the Classic 9's that running low frequencies through them meant sacrificing the sharpest imaging, probably not a problem with the Renaissance 15's because you have a lot more mass and more stable anchoring with your carpeting, and a better stabilized total speaker design...
